How the quote generator works
Fill in your business details, the customer, and the property: its type, condition and number of rooms. Choose the type of clean and any extras. The quote on the right updates as you go, with an estimate of the hours and a full price breakdown. When it looks right, save it as a PDF or copy it into a message.
The time estimate is based on the number of rooms, then adjusted for the type of clean, the property and its condition. A deep clean takes longer than a regular clean, and a home that needs extra work takes longer again. Always check the hours against your own experience before sending.
What a good cleaning quote includes
- Your business name and contact details, and the customer's name and address.
- A quote number and date, and how long the price is valid for (30 days is common).
- Exactly what's included, line by line, with extras priced separately.
- The total, and whether it's per visit for regular cleans.
- Your terms: when payment is due, and anything the customer needs to do, like clearing surfaces.
Quote or estimate?
A quote is a fixed price you agree to. An estimate is a rough guide that can change. For one-off jobs like deep cleans and end of tenancy cleans, customers prefer a fixed quote. If you're unsure how long a job will take, ask for photos first, or visit before you quote.
